Yes. As the data collected is publicly available, SalaryIQ is not restrained by reporting data by sample size or adherence to guidelines like Safe Harbor, as say a salary survey. Therefore, you can search by groups of companies, called peer groups or by a single company both through search or within results.

Although not all states require posting ranges, we are finding more and more posting ranges provided by companies even outside states that do not have pay transparency laws. Additionally, SalaryIQ can calculate ranges where ranges are not provided, leveraging tangential relationships with similar jobs, historical posting as well as all of Salary.com's other data products. We explain in detail how we calculate ranges in our methodology.

Generally speaking: SalaryIQ gathers job postings where companies advertise job openings. We compare, contrast and categorize these job postings and match to our robust taxonomy of jobs. SalaryIQ predicts what these positions may look like in the future by considering location, industry, company profile, and similar jobs posted historically. We assign a confidence score to each posting we map to our taxonomy and augments this with information from various economic and labor market indicators to ensure accuracy.
